[Cosmo-dev] JSON-RPC considered harmful

If this is the most expedient way to do it, I'm all for it.

However, if it turns out that this is an incredibly hacky thing which  
requires significant changes on the client and server that we'll just  
have to throw away, I'm more for attempting a more RESTful approach  
which doesn't seem to have a tremendous dev. impact.

After hashing this out with Travis almost all of today, this new  
proposal actual seemed easier. Things might look different tomorrow,  
in the cruel light of day however.
