Why not? We're inputing the functional test data into 0.5, migrating  
it, then testing it manually after the migration -- isn't that the  
definition of "testing specific data that was in the database at the  
time of the migration"

If you're just talking about the last point -- it does seem a little  
cumbersome if we're making sure that an empty migrated repository is  
the same as an empty fresh repository beforehand, but it only takes a  
couple minutes to run the tests again so I figured what the hell.
