That should be OK in a Chandler-only environment. 

However: from an interop perspective, at the moment I *discourage*
unnecessary calendaring of any to-do item. Doing so, in Chandler Desktop or
Hub, will paradoxically cause a client such as Apple iCal to lose track of
all changes to the item (it may *never* appear in the calendar, never be
shown as done).

I'll add a reference to a bug.
