Relating to 'detail view' at right hand side:

Historically, detail view was too wide, this was fixed in
<https://bugzilla.osafoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7856>.

Relating to the 'sidebar' at left hand side:

*  https://bugzilla.osafoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12478 sidebar is too
narrow to allow user to distinguish between names of some collections ,
there should be a solution to this without increasing the width.
