You're right, it's a bit worse.
The x86_64 binaries are under:
     http://builds.osafoundation.org/external/linux/gutsy/x86_64
It hardcodes 'gutsy' since it's the only 64-bit Linux that got tested.
You need to hack the Makefile so that your DISTRIB_CODENAME says 'gutsy' 
instead of 'intrepid'.
