Hi Anatole and Mimi
Enhancement bug <https://bugzilla.osafoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12654>
suggests that
> quick entry: interpretation of words should be optional (not forced)
Whilst the quick entry field is unpredictable, for quick shortcuts I use key
combinations, e.g.
command-shift-N
— that's for Mac OS X; on other OSes the modifier keys will differ.
An added benefit of using the menu command (or shortcut) in lieu of quick
entry is that if you're in a Calendar view, you need not switch to All view
to create a simple note. The New Note command switches the view for you:

If you're lucky — if the selected collection was visible in sidebar before
you created the note — then you'll gain a clear

paint trail from left to right.
(This combination of Chandler Desktop behaviours — in response to a single
keystroke — is, to me, Chandler at close to its best.)
Regards
Graham
