If Chandler Desktop requests the Master password that you set for yourself,
then you may change the time out whenever the dialogue appears:

The Protect Passwords… routine is in the File menu:

You may also wish to set an Auto-sync frequency:

That setting is not persistent. Maybe once a week, your setting may be lost.
