[chandler-users] IMAP Folders

I didn't connect with Brian. However, the fix/work-around as I understand it
is based on the following

   1. Chandler has the full ability to place folders anywhere it wants (
/INBOX/Tasks or /Tasks). (This is a major assumption, which Brian eluded
to but needs to be verified.)
   2. Chandler does not have a UI which allows it to place folders anywhere
other than a sub-folder of INBOX
   3. Dumping out Chandler's config file, editing it manually, and reloading
it should expose the capability of #1

A side issue with this is that

   - Some IMAP mail servers can place *all* folders as a sub-folder of
INBOX. Then, there is no issue as Chandler's folders appear at the same
level of hierarchy as all other folders.
      - /INBOX
         - /Sent
         - /Chandler Events
         - /Chandler Tasks
         - /LOLCats
      - Thunderbird has the ability to organize any sub-folder as the root.
So, if you tell Thunderbird to set the IMAP root level to "INBOX", you would
   see (i.e. everything *under* /INBOX):
      - /Sent
      - /Chandler Events
      - /Chandler Tasks
      - /LOLCats
   - Gmail is not a true IMAP server. It instead places IMAP folders which
represent labels *at the same level as* INBOX:
      - /INBOX
         - /Chandler Events
         - /Chandler Tasks
      - /Starred
      - /LOLCats
      - ...

So, since *most* IMAP servers can chose to store all folders under /INBOX
(which is the only place Chandler can store its folders), *and* Thunderbird
can be configured to recognize this, users can see Chandler folders all at
the same level as other folders

Since Gmail *cannot* be configured to place labels as folders under /INBOX,
and Chandler cannot (through the UI) place its folders anywhere other than
under /INBOX, Chandler users need to navigate through an additional level of
hierarchy (under /INBOX) to see the Chandler folders. This in effect stops
them from being able to use Chandler folders as Gmail labels/tags.
