You're right. Seeing the "welcome note" has always made me think the 
rest of the "new repository sample data" was lurking somewhere in my 
18000+ items, so I've carefully deleted the sample data before reloading 
the repository chex file.

Does 'Welcome to Chandler' actually serve any purpose when someone is 
restoring a repository from a backup, do you think? I find it more of an 
annoyance - I've already been welcomed before!
