[chandler-users] Mobile phone event alarms

Hi All

I don't have access to my computer all the time. Hence Chandler is
something I only have access to several hours per day.
But what I do have with me all the time is my mobile phone.

I've taken to entering my important events into the mobile phone
calendar (with alarm). The main problem with using the phone as an event
reminder tool is that the phone interface is rather difficult to use.

Last week I came across a really interesting tool:

This provides me with a tool to sync with my mobile phone and my Gmail
calendar any time I like. No wires required!

I immediately checked the Chandler-Users mail archives and saw that the
Google Calendar/Chandler sync plug-in not quite ready for prime time.
(Does not deal with recurring events.)

Anyway I wanted to share my excitement of the possibility that I see of
liberating myself from my computer and use a cheap "always on" portable
reminder tool. My mobile phone <-> gmail calendar <-> chandler plug-in
<-> chandler.
