That exception looks like the client is just aborting the request.  I 
wonder if ical is running into some .ics it doesn't like.  Can you 
import the .ics from the calendar that doesn't load into ical (using the 
.ics generated from either Chandler Desktop or the server?  If you 
remove that calendar do the other 3 work fine?  Can you try creating 
another account with a single calendar (of the one that doesn't load) 
and see what happens?
