Not every feature is documented, but there should be enough here to  
get you on your way.

The second column in the Triage Table View is a status column that  
tells you whether an item is Read or Unread (blue dot) or "Needs  
Reply" (Arrow).

Also, if you mouseover the icon, you should get a tooltip that tells  
you what it is.

But to your point, an guide to the icons in Chandler would be a good  
addition to the Get Started guide.
