amd64 is Ubuntu's name for both Intel's and AMD's 64-bit processors, so
that's no problem. 32-bit library support is provided by Ubuntu package
ia32-libs, after that Chandler from the unpacked tar file worked fine.
I've no idea how to make the 32-bit deb work though. Possibly using the
getlibs package to install it (for instructions on how to use it, see
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=474790, and download the
package from www.boundlesssupremacy.com/Cappy/getlibs/getlibs.deb). But
I'm not sure whether packages installed this way would from then on be
maintainable from the system's package manager or if you would have to
continue using getlibs.
