Hi, Kent
Unfortunately, as far as I know, we don't have any 64-bit machines
around, so I can't double-check this directly. I do know that
according to the following bug:
https://bugzilla.osafoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11951
it's possible to unpack the .tar.gz version of the binary, install
some kind of 32-bit library support, and run the chandler execitable
directly. I'm unsure of
- exactly what Davor meant by "32-bit library support"
- whether that would allow you to install an i386 deb file or not
- whether this is applicable to amd64
Hope this helps,

PS: I know that it is possible to build chandler for 64 bit Linux, but
I haven't been able to try this myself. I believe there are messages
in the chandler-dev@ archive as to how to do this that I could point
you at if you're interested in undertaking such an endeavour.
