"Duplicate" would work just fine.

Here's a typical scenario. Let's say I have a group of documents to edit
and I know I'm going to have to spread this job over several days, at
random times, whenever I can squeeze it in...and I don't know how long
it's going to take.

I create an event, create a checklist within the details area, and then
place the event on my calendar to reserve a couple of hours today to
work on these documents. I want to reserve some time tomorrow so I
create another event for the same job and copy/paste the details area
from today's event.

Making a recurring event won't work, because I will work on this little
project today and tomorrow and I know I won't finish, but I don't know
when I'll get back to it.

It would be much easier to duplicate the original event and then simply
paste it one or more times onto different days of my calendar.

I'm pretty sure this has been tracked as a bug, but to be clear, I need
tasks and events within the NOW and LATER sections to be sorted by
date/time.

Now that you mention it, I do remember that there already is a two-month
calendar sitting in the Chandler window, way over on the left.
Hmmm...maybe I need to stop counting dates on my fingers and use the
calendar that's already there!!
