[chandler-users] Plugins in 0.7.7

It seems I have problems installing Plugins in Chandler 0.7.7 under
Ubuntu 8.04 (installed from ...tar.gz):

error: invalid Python installation: unable to open /home/kriegjcb/Chandler_linux_0.7.7/release/lib/python2.5/config/Makefile (No such file or directory)

with automatic or manual installation of
Chandler-FeedsPlugin-0.8-r16144.tar.gz 

Any ideas?
