Yes, good idea. It is the obvious counterpart to bug 10109: UI to
take you to
event in calendar from reminder pop-up.

Hm, this is an interesting case. Have you tried browsing your
schedule using the mini-calendar? When you find an open slot, you can
drag the task onto that date in the mini-calendar (which will make an
"anytime that day event") and then double click on that date to jump
straight to it in the calendar app area.
