I believe there are several people using GMail with Chandler.  The IMAP 
folders Chandler creates are interpreted by GMail as labels.  So I think 
you can just add the "Chandler Event" label to your messages to get them 
into Chandler.  Of course it's possible this has broken, but I haven't 
heard reports of problems.

What data are you hoping to sync with Outlook?  If you want to get 
events in, you can do a one time export to ics (at least for Outlook 
2007), or you could follow the directions here:

to publish your Outlook calendar as iCalendar, which you can then 
subscribe to with Chandler.  Unfortunately your events will be 
read-only, but you can at least put them in different collections if you 
want to.
