[chandler-users] Performance differences between wintel and intel mac

Hi Folks,

In another thread, Mimi said to Rick:

Until a few weeks ago, I was using a wintel machine for developing and 
it was my made Chandler machine.

Rick's experience of performance on wintel is about what I experienced. 
  Purges are very slow, and the UI periodically (maybe once every ten 
times I try to edit an item) goes away for 5-30 seconds.

Now that I've switched to an Intel Mac, I have yet to see pauses like 
this with the same repository (I don't know what purge performance will 
be like).  I don't know if there's a wintel specific bug, or what, but I 
think it's possible not everyone's on the same page about performance, 
because it seems way faster on Intel Mac. :)
