[chandler-users] Upgrading from Chandler 0.7.3 (or earlier) to 0.7.4

Hi, Eugene

You are absolutely right -- that extra step that isn't part of the  
usual migration instructions.

Besides manually removing the file on disk, another way to clear out  
your repository is to hold down the control key immediately after  
launching Chandler. This will bring up the Start-up Options dialog;  
pick "Discard all my data and start with a fresh repository".
