[chandler-users] Chandler's future (in a year)

I've just stumbled upon the following post from Phillip J. Eby on his own
blog regarding Chandler and its future: http://dirtsimple.org/programming/

Firstly, I didn't know PJE was part of Chandler/OSAF's staff... this is good
news, he is a very talented developer, been following his work mainly
because I do a lot of Zope/Plone progamming, and he is one of the key
developers of Zope 3.

But I admit I became a little worried when he said the following:

" (...) It is certainly *possible* that we'll decide to just wrap up the
outstanding work on bug fixes, quality improvement, and so on for the
existing packages, and not try to continue past the end of this year (...)"

I then thought, just now that I started studying the Chandler framework,
contributing bug reports and am planning to start developing around and for
it, he says it all could end in a year!? It's not fair ...

Well, I hope that Chandler goes far beyond this year :) I really believe
that after the last happenings and releases, Chandler really has everything
to succeed.

Marcelo.
