I don't think its important to limit this section to current/former
staff, though it might be handy to indicate whether or not the person
has "committer"/"core team" status.
Similarly, we probably want to update the "teams" page:
The new board members have been added (yay) -- perhaps a good idea to
change up the top part of the page to reflect who is currently active in
the project and what role they have, not who is staff (which is becoming
a less interesting distinction).
I can go ahead and do that if folks are in agreement.
