[chandler-users] running chandler as self vs running as root

I can build Chandler RC1 as either myself or root from the SVN source 
with no trouble (I run on Mandriva), but I can only run it as root, no 
matter who built it.  When I run as myself, it hangs at 10% loaded.  Are 
there any profile settings that might get in the way?
