[chandler-users] Chandler Hub problems

Hi Ovidiu
I'm afraid we don't officially support Opera, so there are likely to
be quite a few bugs. There's no philosophical reason for this, so
seeing those bugs fixed by community members would be very welcome,
but at this point it's a matter of resources.
I haven't heard of people having problems accessing Hub from behind a
proxy, but I wouldn't be too surprised to find this was the case. In
theory Hub should work with a well behaving proxy, but not all proxies
behave and we definitely still have bugs. Could you give a few more
details about what you're doing? Generally the best way to set up a
hub sharing account is to use the "Chandler Hub Account" option in the
account setup dialog and enter a username and password, so if that's
what you're doing you might need to investigate the proxy, or do a
test in a different environment.
The desktop client uses an HTTP based protocol on port 80 (HTTP) and
443 (HTTPS).
The desktop guys might have better ideas about how to fix your desktop
client bug, hopefully they'll chime in if they do.
Thanks for trying Chandler, and let us know if we can help!
