I recall using Chandler in this (what I would call) multi-persona
(single user, multiple Chandler identities) manner about one year ago
(through the multiple alpha versions of Desktop 0.6). It worked pretty
well, and had the benefits of providing a clear separation of contexts,
a separation of concerns, that is, office and home life. Though
appealing initially, I found my "office work" and "home work" contexts
to be more a frame of mind than a physical location or the use of a
particular computer, leading to the reintegration of my Chandler
personalities, so to speak. I suppose for those who draw a thicker line
of sorts between their professional and personal lives, this
configuration might be very workable.
