Hi Andi, Thanks for the tip. Got it working with my USB "stick". This
configuration makes Chandler Desktop more practical for me day to day.
For others potentially interested, specifically, on Windows XP, I moved
only the "__repository__" folder (and all of its contents) from its
location on the C:\ drive to the root of the USB drive, in my case F:\,
and made this addition to the chandler.prefs file on the C:\ drive
[options]
repodir=f:
My initial impressions are that the performance of this configuration is
fine. There are a few additional delays here and there as noted by Andi,
but nothing that impairs my usage.
Usual caveats apply, of course, back up your data, YMMV, etc.
