This isn't strictly true.  We've disabled importing all your mail into 
Chandler because we didn't think it was reliable, and we wanted to 
release Chandler configured in such a way that we could feel good about 
performance and stability.

With all that said, I think there's a config flag you can set to get 
Chandler to download all the mail in your IMAP inbox (but it won't 
currently give you a way to see or manipulate mail in your other IMAP 
folders).
