Hi Philippe,
Many thanks for your follow-up and support. We are in the middle of our General Conference so my Chandler evaluation for my project counterparts is on hold.
However, if I will reinstall Chandler 0.7.0.1 and try accessing the Agency's mail server. However, your suggestion of redirecting messages through my Mac would certainly work as a temporary workaround.
Just one question, can I control where Chandler is installed under Windows? It was installed by default on my Agency's virtual drive last time and this exceeded my quota. On the other hand, I have plenty of capacity on my Windows C: drive.
Very best wishes,
Ian
PS It isn't only Chandler that has problems with Agency's firewall/authentication our other web-based applications are affected. But there is no easy answer since security is becoming an issue even for my Division where information is publicly available.

Windows
Hi Ian,
Thanks for giving Chandler a try. Since rc4, we went through a couple of
other rc iterations and finally shipped a final 0.7.0.1 version that is
really ready for use. You can download it from our general page:
http://chandlerproject.org/
As far as Windows install is concerned, I'd like to know more what is
happening. If you could email me your log file, that would help (you can
find it in Chandler under the menu Tools>>Logging>>Log window... the top
of the dialog gives you the location of the complete log file).
We had spotty reports of people unable to use Chandler from behind a
firewall. This is strange. It seems that some firewalls weed out
anything generated by SSL. Using the Chandler Web UI though should work
from your work location, does it? This should at least allow you to see
and edit your calendars and task lists.
As for sending emails, you cannot send emails to your Chandler Hub
account proper. However, you can send emails to the IMAP account you set
up your home Chandler Desktop with. You can then drop those emails into
the relevant Chandler IMAP folder and get them to show up into Chandler
(see
http://chandlerproject.org/pub/Product/GetStartedGuide/2-ConfigureFolders.html#ChandlerFolders).
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
- Philippe

However I have been unable to configure account preferences--Chandler Hub sharing (error from mail server hub.chandler.org "timeout error"). Likewise incoming or outgoing mail failed all tests. There doesn't appear to be any problem with hub.chandler.org since I can access my account manually or via the URL I created over the weekend.

If it isn't possible to configure the Chandler desktop for Windows, what about automatically sending emails from MS Office to my account on Chandler Hub and managing their or from my Mac at home?
