So I loaded up Esther's repository and I see that the event was
created at version 478 but the title was not committed until version
509 (and then promptly synced with the server at that point). So this
is indeed the case of data not being made available to the sharing
layer. Perhaps what we should do is have the UI thread trigger syncs
directly (in addition to the hourly sync).
Mitch/Esther: a workaround is to explicitly hit the Sync button after
you add and fill in an event's details. That will ensure the data is
committed to disk and then synced with the server.
