Subscribing to the "mc" URL should bring up the username/password
prompt if you don't have those properly entered.  Is that happening?

Right, you can't subscribe to a "pim" URL without a ticket.  The
server won't allow it.


Try using the "Restore Published Shares" feature I described earlier.
