I agree, I've found that a large minority of people never discover that
they can do day mode directly from the calendar UI, this needs fixing.

Philippe describes the way LATER->NOW transitions are supposed to work,
but I wanted to highlight that ideally, the LATER section would
automatically sort by the upcoming due date, which I think would be
pretty close to the workflow Dave uses, is that right Dave? You'd see
the things with alarms that fire soon first.

This isn't working yet, which I agree tends to make large LATER sections
unapproachable.
