hi bruce. you don't see an (i) because you're looking at the account
browser, not the calendar. go into the calendar and look in the upper
left hand corner of the page. you should see the (i) icon right next
to the calendar menu. click the (i) to pull up the collection details
dialog. choose "other" from the "subscribe with" menu. copy the
"caldav" url and plug that into sunbird's subscribe dialog. for me,
the caldav url looks like this:
<https://osaf.us:443/cosmo/dav/collection/09e55db7-ae1d-4ce3-a677-5ba5cd379e4e>

the http url looks correct, and i'm not sure why you're getting a
failure. sunbird has a lot of known issues with caldav, both in
functionality and in error reporting. i've seen a lot of mysterious
failures without explanation just like you are right now. i hear that
lightning is the focus of development at mozilla these days; i wonder
if you'd get better results with it?
