One more thing:

I can't subscribe to the calendar I've created using iCal 2.x.  The  
link provided when selecting Subscribe with... Apple iCal v2.x goes  
to a 405 error.

In iCal 2.x, there are two errors received when trying to subscribe  
with the above URL:

"iCal does not recognize internet addresses starting with "https"...."

Naturally, I then tried with webcal:// and http://:

"Data downloaded from http://osaf.us/cosmo/webcal/collection/ 
284c4063-06b0-4c5d-8bf2-d448783d8c40?ticket=lvqnicgus0 is not valid"

By removing the :443 to avoid potential port issues, I got:

"Error subscribing to the calendar
http://osaf.us/cosmo/webcal/collection/284c4063-06b0-4c5d-8bf2- 
d448783d8c40?ticket=lvqnicgus0 is not a valid location for this request"
