Hi Dave,
Thanks for taking the time to write up your workflow on the chandler-
users list. Please see my response in-line…

Woo hoo—thanks for dogfooding! =)

This is odd, it sounds like you were logged into the account and
click on the right button (the 'i' for info button) which popped up
the 'collection details' dialog to change the name of the collection.

Ah ha. Looks like you found a bug! I was able to reproduce it.
Interestingly enough, when I log out and log back into my account,
the name in that drop down list resets itself. I believe I have
logged that bug before, but I will add your feedback to the bug:

Oh no! This is a bug we found recently when deleting a collection.
Cosmo will hang in 'Processing…'. Bobby had sent out e-mail on how to
fix this for now. Follow these steps for now: http://
lists.osafoundation.org/pipermail/chandler-users/2007-March/000112.html
Please reply to his e-mail if you have any additional questions on
his instructions.

So I believe you did all the appropriate steps to change a name in a
collection.
First you have to be logged into your account. Then click on the
'i' (for info) which will pop up the collection details dialog. From
the 'Collection Details' dialog, you should be able to change the
name of your collection and hit 'Save'.
> 2) How do you create a new calendar with a new name?
Currently the Cosmo UI does not support creating a new calendar
except for the out of the box calendar when you first sign up for a
new account. The original goal for Cosmo 0.6 was to view, share and
interact with a collection from a Chandler desktop users. Users who
are not using Chandler desktop or even have an account on Chandler
Hub would be able to view and interact with collections shared by
users running Chandler desktop. The only other way to create new
calendars is to use Chandler desktop (or the other calendaring apps
pointing to the Cosmo server) and create new calendars from the same
account.
> 3) How do you safely delete a calendar?
Currently the Cosmo UI does not support deleting calendars either. As
you know, there is the ability to go into the 'Account Browser' and
locate published calendar and deleting them. We're not really
recommending users to use that since, as you pointed out, it is a
hard delete and we cannot recover your collection afterwards.
As for collections which are subscribed, they also do not show up in
the 'Account Browser'. You will have to follow the steps Bobby had
outlined in his e-mail (link above) to delete subscribed collections.
It is on our road map to be able to delete subscribed events and to
have a soft delete (move to the trash bin) from the Cosmo UI.
> 4) How can I get this account back in working order?
First follow the steps Bobby had sent out in e-mail and then e-mail
us back if you are not back in working order.
Hope that helps. Thanks for your feedback! =)
