When you mean a 'whole' week view, do you mean the number of hours in
the day? Or were your expectations to see the week displayed
differently, for example starting on Monday and ending on Sunday?

Agreed. We have this has been struggling with this issue mainly
because of information displayed on the lozenge, the little squares
on the canvas.
I'm curious to know, what do you look for when you're scheduling
space? Do you scan for an empty space on the calendar canvas to find
a 'free time'? Or is it a matter of inputting a bunch of events on a
given day? Would a list view help you in any way for scheduling?
When you have a lot of events on a single day, what do you look at
that reminds you of the next event? Is the title of the event helpful
enough to give you a clue about the event? Or do you need some lead
in description of the event? Does the time or time zone information
help you on such a small display of information? By describing your
needs, we can help identify what information needs to be displayed
when the lozenges are reduced to half the size.

Yes agreed. We have that feature on the roadmap, (bug: https://
bugzilla.osafoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5124) but it's been slated
to future as there are priorities which are driving the product to
support more then just calendar events. And to better support items
shared from Chandler desktop. I will note your concern in the bug and
when we triage bugs for review, it may be placed as a higher priority
based on your feedback.

Interesting. Again, we do have this filed as a bug so you know it's
on the road map. Thanks! ;)
Just to clarify do you mean you're running Safari on LInux?
