Nothing concrete at the moment. Personally I'd like to wait to see how
the rearchitecture pilot turns out. You can read more here:

The pilot will still run for a month or two (I think), after which we'd
need to determine the viability of that approach and if deemed good
there would probably be quite a bit of work to move fully on board with
the new arch. I doubt that would happen in time for 1.0 in Q1 of 2008,
but I could see parallel development towards 2.0 starting before 1.0
with the rearch.
