[Chandler-dev] Summer of Code proposal

This is the idea I'm working with right now for my Summer of Code project.
My internet access has been pretty spotty the last couple of days so I
wasn't able to do as much research as I would have liked.  Please correct
any wrong assumptions or misconceptions that I may have as a result.

Widgets seem to be in high demand, both for web and for the desktop (four
out of the five projects on the Projects Idea list are widgets).  If it does
not already exist, I would like to create a  framework that will allow easy
access to the data store for widgets.  I would also like to build a
Dojo-based search widget [for queryi theng and displaying results from the
data store].  If development goes quickly and I have extra time, I would
also like to implement it as a desktop widget using Konfabulator.
