Portable Chandler is built from the chandler Makefile with:
     make relocatable-distrib
There is a README file in distrib/relocatable that explains how it is
put together.
It's status is "needs testing".
It is only supported on Intel chips, 32 bit, no ppc.
It is rather slow when put on a stick (a USB key) but should perform
well off a FireWire/USB hdd.
