Dojo, the Javascript toolkit we use in the web ui, made the switch to
forums a little while ago, it might be worth pinging some of the folks
over there to see if they have any thoughts or suggestions on a)
whether the forums have been a positive addition to other forms of
communication and b) implementation of the necessary infrastructure.
I'd be happy to make this inquiry if we have interest in exploring the
idea.
