The question of "how many people are downloading Chandler Desktop" is an
important one to understanding user adoption of the Chandler Project.

I reviewed the initial implementation for accuracy and found ways to
improve the accuracy of our download counts. The download metrics have
been rerun back to May.

For our best available download statistics, please see:

   http://dashboard.osafoundation.org/dashboard/downloads

The rerun lowered the previously-reported measured downloads by roughly
a third. Our average daily downloads is about 100 per day (more during
September). We spiked at around 450 in one day (1250 for the 3 days
after Preview release), and have had six days in September above 300.

We see about 2 to 2.5x as many Windows downloads as Mac, with 50-100% as
  many Linux downloads as Mac.

Questions welcome; it can be difficult to interpret metrics without more
context and details.
