We no longer consider them "the same" like this: in that example, those 
are two different addresses.

(We do care about the similarity in only one case nowadays: we track 
which addresses are "me" addresses, and any address whose address part 
case-insensitively matches an existing "me" address will also become a 
"me" address.)
