From a purely outsider perspective, my guess is that once users have
seen a Preview, they expect the "1.0" Release within the next few
months. (Preferably with a regular trickle of milestones available for
download -- even if most won't try every single one of those, it's just
comforting to see them.) A long delay while the architecture is being
completely overhauled seems very unusual. Wouldn't this be more of
a "2.0" type thing?
