Really nice work, Morgen!  Those doctests are really helpful and
readable.  And the API looks really nice, thanks for everyone's hard
work on this.

A few quick things:

- Do you mean to have the datetime example be the same as the decimal
  example?

- I could use a little more verbiage on what filters are doing.  Does
  something like that live elsewhere?
