[Chandler-dev] new --mvcc performance feature

I turned on --mvcc in the perf tests on January 11. For the most part
the changes according to our tests are really minor, +/- 2% usually.

The exception is the PPC Mac platform, which had large changes in two
tests. Subscribing to collection got about 15% faster, and publishing a
collection about 500% (!) slower.

Stability wise there does not seem to be a difference to running with or
without --mvcc.
