Markku's right: we are pushing to get to a Preview release in April and 
had to cut the labelling (tagging) feature out (see 
http://wiki.osafoundation.org/Projects/ItemsNotInPreview). With that in 
mind, the auto tagging doesn't make a lot of sense right now.

That being said, this is an Open Source project and, as Markku pointed 
out, nothing prevents you to try something out and continue the work 
that Xun and Markku started last year. One thing though is that, much to 
my chagrin, I personally won't be available to work on this project till 
after Preview.

No one is working on those right now so they are indeed up for grab.
