[Chandler-dev] "Precondition failed" for subscription to ICS calendar

(Repeat with valid subject; sorry about the previous message...)

Hi, all,

I just upgraded to 0.7.3 from 0.7.0.1 and the subscriptions to ICS
files served by my own machine (within my firewall) no longer sync.
They now display "Precondition failed (HTTP status 412)" for the
status of the subscription. (A similar subscription to the public
"US Holidays" calendar is still working just fine.)

I vaguely remember something about this HTTP status being discussed
at some point, but I don't remember any details and I can't seem to
find the thread by searching. Moreover, I can't find a bug for the
issue, so I don't know if it's something that's not yet fixed.

Am I remembering this discussion correctly? If so, can someone refer
me to the thread?

What's the precondition that's failing? Is it Chandler or is it my
own Apache configuration that's at fault?

Is there a bug for this issue? If so, what is it?

How do I get my calendars back?

Tks,
-- Greg Noel, retired UNIX guru
