[Chandler-dev] Detail layout branch

I've created a branch for the new detail-view layout changes I've been 
working on... if anyone wants to have a look, feel free -- I'd 
appreciate feedback.

(WARNING: there'll be a schema bump with this: I don't suggest you run 
it with your real data, since there's no going back!)
