[Chandler-dev] Ways to avoid Yield

I participated on comp.lang.python discussion about wx MainLoop, and
when I mentioned how we do splash screen in Chandler I got a response
giving an example how to do it without Yield() (which we've learned is
tricky). We might want to try something like this after review:
