[Chandler-dev] Chandler performance update

We've been working on optimizing Chandler's performance over the past
two weeks, and have one more week of dedicated performance work left.

We've made some good progress, but there is still quite a bit of work to do.

I made trend graphs for the primary use cases using the data from the
past two weeks:

PS. If you feel you are stuck and don't have any ideas on how to improve
these cases, there are still some regression bugs about the primary use
cases; it might be useful to compare profiles before and after the
regression and look at the patches to see if anything stands out:
