On Windows and Mac spaces are fine in directory names. On all platforms
0.7 is also allowed. So, for profile directories I think we should go with:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Open Source
Applications Foundation\Chandler\0.7\xxxxxxxx.default
/Users/username/Library/Application Support/Open Source Applications
Foundation/Chandler/0.7/xxxxxxxx.default
/home/username/.chandler/0.7/xxxxxxxx.default
Blowing away the application installation directory isn't that big a
problem, because the user could always reinstall the older version.
But assuming we really want to install different versions in different
directories, I think on Windows and Mac the 'Chandler' directory should
be named 'Chandler 0.7' (actually, I can't remember exactly what it was
on the Mac, so correct me if this seems wrong). On Linux that should be
'chandler-0.7'. In principle we could add '0.7' directory, but I think
it is more traditional the way I described it first.
